Why should I take this course?
Diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression time, especially on repetitive scuba dives or you can choose to use it to shorten your surface intervals. If staying down longer and getting back in the water sooner sounds appealing, then don’t hesitate to become an enriched air diver.
 
If you’re a (Junior) Open Water Diver who is at least 12 years old, you can enroll in the Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty course.
 
What will you learn?
You’ll learn why diving with air that has higher oxygen and lower nitrogen content gives you more bottom time, along with enriched air equipment considerations.
 
During a practical session, and two scuba dives, you’ll:
Discuss managing oxygen exposure.
Practice analyzing oxygen content in your scuba tank.
Set your dive computer for diving with enriched air nitrox.
 
How can you start learning now?
Download the MySSI app, signup and affiliate yourself with our center 766780 and we will open the materials for you. The theory is mostly self study and can be done anywhere where it is convenient for you.
 
What gear will you use?
Most modern scuba equipment and dive computers can be used with enriched air, but we will let you know if your gear meets manufacturer recommendations and local requirements. During the course we practice using oxygen analyzers, special cylinder decals and setting up your dive computer. We will also explain other equipment you may need to enjoy enriched air diving.
 
 
PLEASE NOTE: This price includes light breakfast, lunch, drinks and snacks (on the boat), equipment, boat admittance, insurance and instructor fees. For Vegan food there will be 200 THB/day extra charge.
