Whale Shark Spring...

The past couple of months have been the most incredible in terms of Whale Shark activity that anyone can remember.

Although Whale Sharks can be encountered throughout the year in the Gulf of Thailand, their appearances are usually sporadic and often fleeting.

The first few months of 2017 however have bucked this trend with almost daily sightings of these incredible animals at many of the region's main dive sites such as Sail Rock, Chumphon Pinnacles, Shark Island and others.

Even more remarkable is that on many occasions there have been more than one individual shark present at the same time!

No one can say how long this Whale Shark extravaganza will continue but one thing's for sure, we're certainly not getting tired of seeing them...
