With its sheer abundance of schooling fish making it probably the best and most famous dive site in the Gulf of Thailand, this large pinnacle (which begins above sea level) provides a superb wall dive effect. You will complete two dives in one day.
 
Together with a number of surrounding smaller pinnacles, Sail Rock offers an amazingly varied topography. The largest pinnacle hosts the famous "Chimney", a large vertical swim-through with its deepest entry point around 18m, reaching the top at around 8m.
 
Whilst a variety of larger pelagic fish including Barracuda and Mackerel form huge schools around the rock, present on the rock itself is an incredibly varied ecosystem formed by countless species including Groupers, Wrasses, Snapper, Batfish, Angelfish and Damselfish.
 
Numerous interesting species of marine life such as Scorpionfish, Moray Eels, Shrimps, Nudibranchs and Sea Slugs can also be found both on the wall and amongst the hard and soft corals.
 
Depending on season and conditions, Sail Rock is also one of the Gulf of Thailand’s sites most commonly visited by the world’s largest fish, the immense Whale Shark.
 
 
PLEASE NOTE: This price includes light breakfast, lunch, drinks and snacks (on the boat), equipment, boat admittance, insurance and instructor fees. For Vegan food there will be 200 THB extra charge. 
 
**Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours in advance for a partial refund, and more than 24 hours in advance for a full refund. The latest time to cancel is 8:00 PM the day before your dive—cancellations after this time will not be accepted. No-shows or late arrivals will not be refunded. We offer seasickness medicine before boarding; if you choose not to take it and are unable to dive due to seasickness, no refund will be issued. Refunds will also not be given for personal decisions to stop diving.
