Congratulations to Leah Meskin from California, USA and sisters Nelly and Elodie Herbreteau from Montpellier, France on two amazing dives at Sail Rock.
Although both Leah and Nelly had previous dive experience, this was Elodie's first ever experience of scuba diving. After the usual pre-dive nerves, all 3 girls proved to be excellent divers and Nelly (who had been VERY nervous at the beginning) was even signalling she didn't want to go up at the end of the second dive!
To add to what was already a memorable day, the girls were incredibly lucky to have a brief but unforgettable encounter with a Whale Shark!!
Unfortunately, because the Whale Shark encounter came during the first dive, we didn't have the camera with us as this is against PADI standards...
Thanks go to Damian (Damo) Harrington, our PADI Divemaster trainee for his assistance for the day, and congratulations on his fist ever Whale Shark encounter.
