The shark featured in this photograph at Sail Rock is a 4 - 5m female that has been uniquely identified as individual T-008, and is one of our most frequently sighted individuals.
As is usually the case, she has an sizeable entourage of Cobia (Rachycentron canadum) accompanying her.
The large Cobia just above her head has a deep gash around the back of its head, probably caused by entanglement in a line of some sort.
